I’ve got a client in FL who has a 606 FICO and only two current trade lines. One is only three months old (little credit card) and one is about 9 mos (car). There was a BK discharged in 1992. Also two released tax liens and one she wants to pay off. House is worth over $210K; loan amount is only $160K. Cannot go FHA because we don’t have FHA in FL.
To make it more complicated, the mortgage is always paid on time, but it’s not in her name. It’s in her mother-in-law’s name; her husband recently passed away, and he was (allegedly) handling their finances, so she doesn’t have proof that *she’s* been paying this. She is on title.
Can anyone direct me to a lender that can help with this situation?
